The latest Big Board from Mel Kiper over at ESPN is kind to most of the quarterbacks on the list. Andrew Luck is still first overall. Matt Barkley of USC continues a climb in the top ten and now sits at No. 6. Robert Griffin III of Baylor jumped 10 spots in the latest rankings. But Landry Jones of Oklahoma hasn't seen the same favor. In fact, the quarterback is starting to fall on several draft lists and Kiper's is no different.
Kiper has Jones falling to No. 14 from No. 6 this week and he writes, "I still like the way he's battled so far in 2011, but he has some interceptions and has made some odd decisions. Accuracy is still very good. Good size, strong arm but needs to improve footwork."
Jones had a decent year statistically and still holds a nice frame at 6-4, 229 pounds. The reality is that despite the losses suffered by Oklahoma this year, teams were also still high on Jake Locker after a horrendous senior season. Jones will still be chosen high enough to make his millions and find a starting spot.
