The phrase "next level" is always used to describe the transition that athletes take from one level to the next. Some local high school players felt the pain of a few levels up when former Chiefs Pro Bowl lineman Will Shields came to conduct a recent workout at Blue Springs High School, according to the KC Star. It's an interesting anecdote on the differences in workouts from one level to the next, and a good sign for these player as to what they can expect -- at least for the best players who earn scholarships at the next level.
