2012 NFL Mock Draft: Chiefs Projected To Take Stanford's Jonathan Martin

In the early 2012 NFL Draft process the Kansas City Chiefs have been projected to take an offensive lineman with their first pick. However, there has been some talk that the Chiefs could select Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Landry Jones, if he declares. However, the various mock drafts that have come have the Chiefs taking an offensive lineman with their first pick.

CBS Sports' Dane Brugler has his latest mock draft up and he follows the trend of the Chiefs taking an offensive lineman with the No. 11 overall pick:

11. Kansas City Chiefs, Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford Cardinal: The Chiefs will be searching for a new head coach next season, but GM Scott Pioli remains at the helm and is familiar with the needs on the roster. And one of the biggest question marks is at offensive tackle where the Jared Gaither experiment didn't work. Martin would provide an immediate upgrade over Barry Richardson at right tackle.
