The Kansas City Chiefs have yet to name a new offensive coordinator this offseason. While many people around Kansas City think that last years' quarterbacks coach, Jim Zorn, would ultimately get the position, the news of Jackson's firing may provide an interesting new option for the Chiefs at the position.
I'm not sure how it would work because there doesn't seem to be a history between Jackson and the newly appointed Chiefs head coach, Romeo Crennel. But the fact that the Chiefs haven't named a new offensive coordinator and the fact that Hue Jackson will now be looking for work, the idea should be discussed. At least Jackson would be in the same division as the team that just decided to let him go.
