2012 NFL Mock Draft: Sports Illustrated, SB Nation Have Chiefs Taking An Offensive Lineman

The Kansas City Chiefs are looking at a lot of options with their first round pick which range from taking an offensive lineman, linebacker or a running back. The latest mock drafts from SB Nation and Sports Illustrated have the Chiefs taking an offensive lineman.

Here is the offensive lineman that Sports Illustrated believes the Chiefs will take:

Kansas City Chiefs -- Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa Hawkeyes
The Chiefs need to infuse their offensive line with attitude, and Reiff plays nasty. He fits every stereotype of an Iowa lineman in a good way.

Here is who SB Nation has the Chiefs taking:

Kansas City Chiefs -- Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford Cardinal

Getting by with Barry Richardson is no way to maximize a player like Jamaal Charles, much less keep a stable of mediocre quarterbacks on their feet. Martin can play the left tackle spot. Running back Jamaal Charles will also be helped by the improvement along the offensive line.
