The St. Louis Rams regime is nearly set with a head coach already in place with Jeff Fisher choosing the Rams over the Miami Dolphins and an offensive coordinator, with Brian Schottenheimer rumored to leave the New York Jets to become Fisher's offensive right hand man. Now they apparently have a general manager in place if the rumors are true -- that former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Lake Dawson will be the man for the job.
The Red Zone reports, "Lake Dawson, vice president of football operations with the Titans, interviewed last week with the Rams for their general manager’s position. And, according to what a source tells Terry McCormick of TitanInsider, Dawson has a good chance of landing in St. Louis and working with Fisher."
Dawson has developed a strong reputation as a front office exec after a middling pro career for the Chiefs. He finished with 103 catches and just over 1,400 yards in four seasons for the Chiefs. Before his work with the Titans front office and scouting, he worked in player personnel for the Seattle Seahawks.
