2012 NFL Draft Order: Chiefs, Seahawks Need Coin Flip To Determine First Round Choice

The Kansas City Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks are mired in a tie for the No. 11 and 12 overall slots in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft Order. That said, a coin flip is the only way to determine who will be able to choose when since their strength of schedule also came up at the exact same rate. That one slot might mean the difference between an elite impact player that fits a team and watching him move to another.

The Chiefs finished the season strong with two wins in their last three games including wins over the Green Bay Packers and Denver Broncos to close out the season. It gives them momentum and possibly kept a head coach, but the win against the Broncos kept the Chiefs from choosing at No. 10 overall.

Both teams play in subpar conferences and were hurt by key injuries this season. Both teams could likely turn things around next year depending on how further injuries and rehab play out and next year’s schedule will also play a key role.
