Chiefs QB Coach Jim Zorn Was Targeted By The Bears

The Kansas City Chiefs recently had their director of college scouting Phil Emery sign on with the Chicago Bears as their new general manager. Apparently, the Bears had their eyes on at least one other member of the Chiefs organization. They must be big fans of Chiefs football.

According to Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times, the Bears wanted to interview Chiefs quarterback coach Jim Zorn for their open position at quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator, but Kansas city denied that request. The Chiefs are reportedly high on Zorn, who has been with the team since last offseason. Although the team is undergoing a regime change following the firing of head coach Todd Haley, they want Zorn to stick around. The quarterbacks will see some stability heading into next season.
