Kansas City Chiefs offensive linemen help with First Downs for Down Syndrome

The Kansas City Chiefs offensive line will be at a kickoff event for a First Downs for Down Syndrome, who will be raising money at local KFC restaurants form Oct. 1 to Nov. 4.

Members of the Kansas City Chiefs offensive line will pitch in to help out charity First Downs for Down Syndrome, helping kick off their fundraising drive at local KFC restaurants. Also scheduled to attend the event at the Raytown KFC are the Chiefs cheerleaders and KC Wolf, who will be posing for pictures with fans. The event is Tuesday, Oct. 3 from 12 to 1 p.m.

First Downs for Down Syndrome is trying to raise money at local KFCs from Oct. 1 through Nov. 4, with customers having an opportunity to donate a dollar to the organization with each order. First Downs for Downs Syndrome is a non-profit that subsists entirely on donations, and works to raise money for downs syndrome organizations, raise awareness of downs syndrome, and create positive images of those with downs syndrome. They have raised over $5.5 million since 1992 and are the charity of choice for the Chiefs' O-line.
