In Sunday's battle of one-win teams, the odds in favor of the Buccaneers have shifted from three points to 4.5 points. While not a tremendous jump, it is indicative of the shift in favor of Tampa Bay, as very few analysts are picking the Chiefs to earn a Week 6 win on the road.
Nowhere is that more prevalent than ESPN's picks for the week, as the panel was resoundingly in favor of the Buccaneers to win on Sunday. Of the 14 picks provided by the network for the week, only Mike Golic of ESPN Radio's Mike and Mike in the Morning took the Chiefs. Each of the other 13 selections were in favor of the home team, including Accuscore's projection.
While Accuscore's projection wasn't resoundingly in favor of the Buccaneers, they did earn the nod as 54 percent favorites. Of the 14 projections, Golic's have been the fourth most accurate for the 2012 season as he has correctly predicted 47 of 77 games during the year.
