Some good news for Kansas City Chiefs fans is a welcome respite these days. Special-teamers Ryan Succop and Thomas Gafford provide just that in this story from the team's official website about how the two recently spent a day visiting the Children's Place in Kansas City, a non-profit for child-abuse survivors.

Succop, the Chiefs' kicker, and Gafford, the long snapper, spent the day hanging out with the kids, leading Play60 and other activities. Gafford told KCChiefs.com he was happy to spend time with the kids and help out:

"We did some Play60 drills because it's so important for these kids to be healthy and stay active so we're just out here playing with them," Gafford said.

"To see these kids, they're still so joyful even in the place they are. I think it means a ton to these kids for us to come and be able to bless them a little bit."
