The Baltimore Ravens are making a trip to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday to face the Kansas City Chiefs, but according to the experts at CBS Sports, the team might as well chalk up a victory before they even play. The Ravens are picked as the unanimous favorites to win across the board against KC.
The Ravens come in as 6.5 point favorites before the game and that's even when playing on the road, typically a three point shift. However, the Chiefs have performed miserably at Arrowhead in recent seasons and most recently they've been blown out at home by the Falcons and Chargers.
As for the Ravens, they are on a roll with their elite defense now finding a solid partner with a high-flying vertical passing attack and the great running presence that Ray Rice provides. It's hard to picture the KC defense will be able to stop them given recent injuries to Brandon Flowers, Kendrick Lewis, Glenn Dorsey and Derrick Johnson among others.
In the NFL, anything is possible. However no one seems to really believe the Chiefs have a chance.
