The Kansas City Chiefs have some good news and some bad news on the injury front. Kendrick Lewis and Jon Baldwin will play on Sunday, which is the good news, but Glenn Dorsey and Jalil Brown both did not practice today on the bad side of things.
Romeo Crennel went over all of the injury notes in Friday's press conference:
"Our injury situation: (Peyton) Hillis is not practicing. (Glenn) Dorsey is not practicing. (Jalil) Brown is not practicing and (Devon) Wylie is not practicing. Limited today will be Derrick Johnson, Ropati (Pioitua) and we’ll see what those guys can do, how much they can do. (Jon) Baldwin, he did some yesterday and looked OK. Kendrick Lewis will be back working again. (Ryan) Lilja, he did something yesterday and made it through OK. (Brandon) Flowers made it through OK, so we don’t have as many guys on the bike today.
The Chiefs take on the Ravens in what might appear to be a mismatch, but Baltimore was unconvincing in their only road game and there are questions about how their no huddle will fare when they are away from home. If they struggle again, Kansas City could pounce.
