Jamaal Charles shares Kansas City Chiefs fans' frustration.
Charles told reporters after the game that it's "very frustrating" for the Chiefs to be 1-4 through the team's first five games.
"Very frustrating. A lot of people deserve better, and we deserve better as a team. It was a tough one today, but you saw a lot of fight out there."
Charles has been the bright spot on an otherwise dim season so far. Charles leads the league with 551 rushing yards through five games, and also leads the league in yards per game, at 110.2.
Even against the Baltimore Ravens' stingy defense, Charles still managed to run for 140 yards on 30 carries.
Still, the Chiefs are trying to stay upbeat and optimistic. Running back Cyrus Gray is doing his best to put the loss behind him:
"It's hard. This one was a tough game, 9-6. Things will go our way. Hopefully we'll bounce back next week."
The Chiefs will look to move to 2-4 on the season next week, when they head to Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
