Chiefs injury report: Stanford Routt, Glenn Dorsey questionable

Kansas City could be shorthanded defensively against the Chargers Thursday night.

When the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Diego Chargers Thursday night, they could be without cornerback Stanford Routt and defensive lineman Glenn Dorsey, according to an article on SB Nation's Arrowhead Pride.

Dorsey hasn't been on the field since Week 3, and remains questionable with an injured ankle for Thursday night, while Routt, a starter, hasn't missed a game yet this season but is also questionable. If he is unable to play, according to the post, he could be replaced by some combination of Javier Arenas and Jalil Brown.

Terrance Copper and Steve Maneri are also questionable for the Chiefs, while Devon Wylie is probable. Running back Nate Eachus and quarterback Brady Quinn are out, meaning Matt Cassel will reprise his role of starting signal-caller for Kansas City.

The Chiefs and Chargers kick off at 7:20 p.m. CT at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. The game will be televised on NFL Network.
