Chiefs vs. Steelers 2012 score update: KC and Pittsburgh still tied after 3

The Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers are still tied, 10-10, after three quarters of play at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh on Monday night, as Ben Roethlisberger is being evaluated for a right shoulder injury.

The Chiefs appeared to have scored on two different occasions in the third quarter but ended up with no points. On the first, Kansas City looked to have completed a nine-play scoring drive when Dwayne Bowe took a short Matt Cassel pass and ran 22 yards for a touchdown. The score was nullified by a holding penalty, however, and four plays later Ryan Succop missed a 33-yard field goal.

On the next series, it seemed as if linebacker Justin Houston had returned a Byron Leftwich fumble 21 yards for a touchdown, but the play was reversed on replay and ruled an incomplete pass.

Jamaal Charles still leads all rushers, now with 81 yards on 19 carries. Cassel is 6-13 for 90 yards passing.
