Chiefs vs. Bengals injury report: Asamoah ruled out against Bengals

The offensive lineman will miss Week 11's game against Cincinnati with a thumb injury.

Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE

The Kansas City Chiefs didn't wait until the end of the week to rule offensive tackle Joe Asamoah out against the Cincinnati Bengals because of a thumb injury. The Chiefs made that call today and Asamoah will miss his first start since his rookie year when he played with the first unit just once.

While one receiver gets healthier, another misses their second day of practice. Dwayne Bowe went from a limited participant Wednesday to a full participant today while battling a thigh injury. Jon Baldwin wasn't as lucky though as a head and neck injury kept him out of practice again. There's also some trouble at the tight end position where Jake O'Connell missed practice again with ankle injury, while Steve Maneri's own ankle injury kept him limited in practice for the second straight day.

Good news on the defensive side of the ball with Donatri Poe a full participant in practice today after being limited on Wednesday. He's dealing with a knee injury.
