Bengals vs. Chiefs: Game time, TV schedule, injury updates and more

Kansas City hopes to break a six-game losing skid against Cincinnati Sunday.

Stephen Dunn

The 4-5 Cincinnati Bengals try to keep their playoff hopes alive Sunday afternoon when they play the 1-8 Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for noon CT, with television coverage on CBS.

The Bengals enter Sunday's game after breaking a four-game losing streak with a surprising 31-13 blowout win over the New York Giants last week. Quarterback Andy Dalton completed 21 of 30 passes against the Giants defense for 199 yards and four touchdowns. Dalton is now averaging nearly 260 yards per game through the air for Cincinnati, which has been limited to just 93.7 rushing yards per game.

Kansas City has struggled in its first full season under coach Romeo Crennel. The Chiefs have lost six straight games, including last week's Monday night loss to Pittsburgh. While the Chiefs are one of the league's best rushing teams, averaging 149 yards per game on the ground, those yards have not frequently translated to points. The Chiefs have not scored more than 20 points in a game since Week 3, and have averaged just 11.6 points per game over their last five contests.
