NFL odds Week 12: Broncos vs. Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs will enter Sunday's Week 12 game with the first-place Broncos as heavy underdogs.

Hoping to claw their way out of the AFC West cellar, the Kansas City Chiefs will play host to the first-place Denver Broncos on Sunday afternoon from Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs enter Week 12 on a brutal seven-game slide, a stretch where they are a meager 2-5 against the spread. Along with a woeful -13.2 point differential through 10 games, the Chiefs have dropped four of their last five home games against the Broncos with the spread factored in. To stack the deck even further, Kansas City is 1-5 against the spread over its last six home games and have not yet won a game at Arrowhead this season.

Although the Broncos come in with one of the NFL's most potent offenses at 30.1 points per game, the last three games between the two teams have all ended up finishing below the projected over/under total. The Chiefs are also averaging a meager 9.4 points per game over their last six contests, and have yet to actually face Peyton Manning in a Broncos' uniform.

Spread: Kansas City +11.5
