Dexter McCluster is no longer hampered by an injured elbow and will play without a brace when the Kansas City Chiefs go on the road to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night. The big-play threat spoke about his elbow's progression after Wednesday's practice.

"I'm glad to be out of the brace now," McCluster said. "I can't truly get my running form with it on, but right now it's go time with it."

The three-year veteran out of Mississippi, who has 258 receiving yards and a touchdown on 29 catches this season, also said he now has full extension of his elbow and is excited to play without the limitations of the injury and the resulting brace.

"Right now it's go time," McCluster said. "Everything's back to normal and I'm ready to get out there and play without it for a change."

The Chiefs and Steelers kickoff at 7:30 p.m. CT in Heinz Field on Monday night.
