The Kansas City Chiefs have already ruled receiver Dwayne Bowe out of the game against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday after he suffered a rib injury in the team's loss to the Cleveland Browns, according to KMBC's Johnny Kane.
Kane added that head coach Romeo Crennel did not know about Bowe's status for the rest of the season. Ruling him out of the Oakland game on Monday might suggest the injury is serious.
Bowe suffered the injury after taking a knee to his back in the first half of a 30-7 loss at Cleveland Browns Stadium on Sunday. He was seen vomiting on the field before leaving the game for good, and CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reported that the team was worried he suffered two broken ribs.
Bowe caught two balls for 70 yards against Cleveland before leaving in the first quarter. He has 59 receptions for 801 yards and three touchdowns on the season.
