Chiefs vs. Raiders injury report: Kansas City missing 5 players on Wednesday

The Chiefs are having a hard time staying healthy as their tumultuous 2012 season winds down.

The Kansas City Chiefs were missing five players from practice on Wednesday, while three others were limited with injuries.

Wide receiver Dwayne Bowe remains out -- and will stay that way for the rest of the season -- with broken ribs. OT Branden Albert (back), DB Abram Elam (quad) and OGs Russ Hochstein (back) and Ryan Lilja (knee) sat out the Chiefs' drills on Wednesday with various injuries.

CB Brandon Flowers (hamstring), RB Cyrus Gray (stinger) and LB Derrick Johnson (hamstring) were limited and under the watch of the coaching staff. OL Jon Asamoah (thumb) and DBs Eric Berry (hand) and Kendrick Lewis (shoulder) fully participated, and their status shouldn't be in any doubt for the Chiefs' game against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.

On the Raiders' side, DT Christo Bilukidi (illness) and S Tyvon Branch (neck, ankle) were held out of practice on Wednesday.

The Chiefs and Raiders are slated to kick off at 3:25 p.m. CT on Sunday from the O.co Coliseum in Oakland, Calif. The game will be televised on CBS.
