NFL Injury Report: Chiefs lose Dwayne Bowe to IR, nobody else

There were no big injuries for the Chiefs in their game against the Raiders, but Dwayne Bowe's move to IR provided an injury story of some sort.

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The biggest injury news for the Kansas City Chiefs in a while came on Sunday when the team announced that they would be putting wide receiver Dwayne Bowe on injured reserve for the rest of the season.

Other than that announcement, there was not much to report on the injury front for the Chiefs during their 15-0 loss to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Though the Raiders were able to take advantage of some banged up parts of the Chiefs, including their secondary and passing game, there were no new major injuries to add to the list for KC.

In the end, 11 players ended up listed on the Chiefs injury report prior to the start of the game. The list included Bowe, Abe Elam and Russ Hochstein. None of those three players saw the field Sunday against Oakland, and Steve Breaston was also held out despite the wide receiver corps being down a man once again.
