Current NFL Draft order 2013: Chiefs own No. 1 pick

After finishing the season with a 2-14 record, the Kansas City Chiefs own the No. 1 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Scott Pioli and the Kansas City Chiefs are officially on the clock.

After losing to the Denver Broncos in Week 17, the Chiefs finished the regular season with a 2-14 record -- tied for the worst record in the league with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Kansas City, however, has the No. 1 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft because of tiebreakers.

Though Chiefs fans certainly wish Kansas City had the No. 1 overall pick of last year's draft, when the team could have drafted either Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III, it's still nevertheless exciting to pick at the top of each round.

Kansas City's AFC West rivals will also pick toward the top of each round in April. The Oakland Raiders finished the season 4-12, and have the No. 3 pick in the NFL Draft, while the San Diego Chargers finished 7-9, earning the No. 11 pick in the draft.
