NFL Mock Draft 2012: Kansas City Chiefs Select Trent Richardson In Charlie Casserly's Latest Mock

The Kansas City Chiefs have had a ton of good luck when it comes to the running back position. From Christian Okoye and Marcus Allen, Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson, to present day star Jamaal Charles the fans at Arrowhead are used to great tailbacks running wind sprints up and down the field.

In this day and age of the NFL, most teams are utilizing some form of multiple tailbacks touching the pigskin out the backfield. The Chiefs have a prime opportunity to select a dynamic ball carrier in the draft, and Charlie Casserly of NFL.com suggests that Alabama Crimson Tide tailback Trent Richardson could be a great choice.

Pick No. 11, Kansas City Chiefs
Trent Richardson RB, Alabama: Too good a player to pass up -- Richardson truly boasts top-10 ability.

With the track star speed of Charles and the bruising power of Richardson, the Chiefs could become scary good running the ball. Will it happen? The draft is just two months away.
