While Dwyane Bowe has had a more accomplished career for Kansas City than Brandon Carr, who the Chiefs drafted a year after Bowe, Sports Illustrated's Peter King, one of the most well-connected writers in the NFL, thinks the CB is Kansas City's first priority this off-season:
RT @KCKID913: Do you think the Chiefs sign both Dwayne Bowe and Brandon Carr? ... No. Carr more likely.

Bowe, an athletic 6'2 220 WR out of LSU, was a Pro Bowler in 2010, but his statistics dipped in 2011 due to injuries to QB Matt Cassel and RB Jamaal Charles.
Carr, a 6'0 210 CB who the Chiefs drafted in the 5th round in 2008, had the best season of his career last year, with 45 tackles and 4 INT's. He's started all 64 games that he's appeared in for Kansas City.
Both players will likely be highly sought-after once NFL free agency begins.
