2012 Hall Of Fame: Willie Roaf Makes Hall Of Fame On Second Attempt

Offensive tackle Wille Roaf had to wait only two yeas to become a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Skill position players are usually put ahead of offensive lineman, but Roaf was a special talent and during his 13 year NFL career from 1993-2005 where he was a member of the NFL All-Decade team in the 1990s and 2000s, he made 11 Pro Bowls and was named to the All-Pro team six times.

Roaf played for the Kansas City Chiefs from 2002 - 05 and prior to that he played for the New Orleans Saints from 1993 - 2001. Roaf played in and started in 189 games during his NFL career and started 16 regular season games in nine of his 12 seasons.

The Chiefs website put up a tribute video honoring Roaf's achievement.
