NFL Mock Draft 2012: Chiefs Take Dontari Poe From Memphis In MTD's Latest

In SB Nation's Mocking The Draft's latest mock draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select Memphis defensive tackle Dontari Poe with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft.

Dontari Poe | Defensive tackle | Memphis: If there is one thing head coach Romeo Crennel loves, it's size on the defensive line. With Kelly Gregg near retirement and coming off injury, Crennel could view Poe as the nose tackle of the future. Poe may remind the hulking Poe of Ted Washington, a player who followed him from New England to Cleveland.

The Chiefs have taken anyone from offensive lineman, to quarterback to defensive lineman in mock drafts this year, but as free agency has opened and a more clear picture has formed of what needs teams are saving for the draft, more and more analysts are picking Poe for the Chiefs.

Poe is a huge nose tackle that could fit well into Romeo Crennel's defense and help shore up the team's defensive front seven.
