Among many teams that LSU defensive lineman Michael Brockers has or will be visiting with before next month's NFL Draft, the former Tigers second-team All-SEC selection will be visiting with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Standing 6'6" and tipping the scales at 322 pounds, Brockers ran a 5.36 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine last month, and had a vertical leap of 26 and 1/2 inches. He also had a 8'9" broad jump.
However at the recent LSU Pro Day, Brockers was timed as fast as 4.97 in the 40-yard dash, while jumping 30 inches in the vertical leap.
Thus Brockers has seen his stock-rise in the past week as some NFL teams near the Top 10 in the draft order have been rumored to be placing him among their possible draft candidates.
