Cincinnati Bengals restricted free agent Dan Skuta reportedly visited the Kansas City Chiefs over the weekend to discuss defensive and special teams strategy with the team.
As a restricted free agent, if Skuta was tendered an offer by the Chiefs then the Bengals would have the opportunity to match. If they elected not to then Cincinnati would receive no compensation.
Skuta is a 6-foot-2, 248 pound linebacker out of Grand Valley State. He was signed as a rookie free agent in 2009 and has appeared in 40 games with the Bengals including four starts. He has 55 career tackles with the bulk of those coming in the 2011 season. Skuta is also a valuable special teams contributor where he had 12 more tackles for the Bengals in 2011.
