The Kansas City Chiefs are a possible destination for soon to be ex Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning. However, according to the Sporting News' Clifton Brown, the Chiefs would only be an option if some of Manning's other options fell through first.
Romeo Crennel says it would be crazy for the Chiefs not to consider Manning. That's hard to argue with. But does Manning return the affection? The Chiefs made the playoffs in 2010, and they have some nice young players. Maybe Manning looks this way if some other options fall through.
Brown lists the Miami Dolphins as the favorite to land Manning with the other usual suspects in the Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets and the Washington Redskins who always seem to be looking for a quarterback.
