Former Michigan State wide receiver and quarterback Keith Nichol is hoping that his versatility and willingness to move around the field will help him land a spot on an NFL roster. Nichol has worked out for the Kansas City Chiefs and the New England Patriots and is expected to be either a late round pick, or go to a team as an undrafted free agent.
Nichol is used to making adjustments and realizes he'll likely have to show how much he can contribute to special teams in order to find a home in the NFL.
"There are guys who make tons and tons of money and all they do is special teams," Nichol said. "I don't feel I'm just a receiver or quarterback or anything. I feel I can contribute in a lot of areas."
Nichol recorded 50 catches for 625 yards in his career at Michigan State.
