Arizona State linebacker Vontaze Burfict chose the wrong time to allow his off the field behavior to go south. At the very least, the NFL Draft prospect can't even put up a front for a few months leading up to potentially the biggest day (and payday) of his life. This is definitely a case of buyer beware. With the word from Jay Glazer that Burfict and Virginia Tech cornerback JayRon Hosley have flunked recent drug tests, teams will have even more character concerns to consider on their draft boards besides the ones already known.
NFL teams were informed this week of 2 more players of note who have flunked drug tests: ASU LB Vontaze Burfict and Va Tech CB JayRon Hosley

It's hard enough for a player to gain the attention over dozens of other hopeful players at their draft position, but now Hosley and especially Burfict have a major challenge. Mike Adams was also recently found guilty of the same, however his draft stock should still keep him in the first two rounds since his frame and athleticism are so rare in an offensive lineman.
It will be interesting to see where these players fall after the fact. This weekend will tell the full story.
