The 2012 NFL Draft is finally here. After months of mock drafts, workouts, rumors, trades and failed trades, the moment everyone has been waiting for is upon us and the picks will become official starting tonight. For Kansas CIty Chiefs fans, it’s all about wondering which of the usual names will be announced. Then again, it could be a total surprise as well.
Will it be Luke Kuechly, the linebacker out of Boston College? Will the Chiefs fortify the defensive line with Michael Brockers or Dontari Poe? Will they round out the secondary with Mark Barron out of Alabama? Or solidify the offensive line with David DeCastro, the greatest guard to come out of college since Steve Hutchinson? Or will they throw the ultimate wild card and take Ryan Tannehill, the quarterback out of Texas A&M? It could be any of these which makes for a lot of drama heading into tonight’s first round action.
