According to SB Nation's draft blog, Mocking the Draft's, latest mock draft, the Kansas City Chief use their No. 11 overall pick in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft on Memphis defensive tackle Dontari Poe.
Dontari Poe | Defensive tackle | Memphis: The Kansas City Chiefs aren't going anywhere until they get a quarterback. Matt Cassel is not going to win a Super Bowl for the Arrowhead faithful. No quarterback fits this draft slot, however, and Kansas City also has a glaring need at nose tackle. Dontari Poe moves extremely well for his size, and his combine performance has boosted his stock.
The Chiefs have made a handful of free agency signings, including bringing in guys like former Houston Texans offensive tackle Eric Winston and Browns running back Peyton Hillis, which will likely allow them to draft the best player available instead of drafting for need in the first round.
A guy like Poe would be able to contribute at nose tackle and make an extremely talented front seven much better.
