Dallas Clark Visited New England Patriots This Week

Dallas Clark is making the rounds as an NFL free agent, and he hasn't yet caught on with any team even after spending time with a team in the market for a tight end like the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs were presumed to be the favorite for the former Colt by Peter King of Sports Illustrated, but then the Chiefs announced the signing of veteran TE Martin Rucker. Perhaps they're still in play, but for now Clark has moved on to visiting other teams like the New England Patriots.

The Patriots already have the best tight ends in the NFL with Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski, but the addition of Clark would add another part-time TE on a roster that is already bursting with playmakers. It would be interesting to see where he'd fit, but if any team would know how to use Clark, even in a loaded system, it would be New England.
