Kansas City Chiefs Announce OTA, Minicamp Dates

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced OTA and minicamp dates for the 2012 offseason.

The Chiefs will get their first look at their 2012 draft class on May 11-13, when the team holds a rookie minicamp. All eyes will be on first-round draft pick Dontari Poe, as many draft experts were divided on his stock, as he has the physical tools of a first round pick, but simply did not put it together on the field last year.

Here is Kansas City's offseason OTA and camp schedule:

OTAs: May 21-22, May 24, May 29, May 31-June 1, June 4-5, June 7-8
Rookie Minicamp: May 11-13
Mandatory Minicamp: June 12-14

Unlike last year, teams in the NFL will be able to hold offseason organized team activities and minicamps. This will be Romeo Crennel's first full offseason as a head coach since the 2008 season, his final year with the Cleveland Browns.
