O.J. Atogwe Reportedly Reaches Deal With Philadelphia Eagles

Free agent safety O.J. Atogwe has been waiting for some time to strike a contract on the open market after working out with several teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs. As one of the better options available, it was only a matter of time and Atogwe can now enjoy the next few weeks of vacation before training camp starts now that he has a home.

The Chiefs ended up going with Abram Elam of the Dallas Cowboys over other veteran options brought in. Atogwe bolsters an Eagles secondary with experience and production. While he's definitely in the latter stages of his career, Atogwe had 60 tackles and 3 interceptions last season in 13 games for the Washington Redskins. Not only is he experienced, but he knows the division quite well.
