Tamba Hali Voted No. 34 On NFL's Top 100 Players Of 2012

As the NFL continues it's long, slow drip of a countdown for the top 100 players in the league, the Kansas City Chiefs are finally on the board again at No. 34 as revealed last night with the inclusion of Tamba Hali that high. Hali is without a doubt one of the best linebackers in the NFL and the Chiefs best pass rusher.

Last year, Hali was No. 64, so in a survey where the votes come from his peers on the field, it's a sign that respect for Hali is growing league-wide. Hali has truly broke out the last two seasons after several years with solid pass rushing stats. He's now a great two-way defender against the run and the pass, but the sack numbers are now there in droves. In 2010, he had 14.5 sacks and last year he had 12. These numbers often came as the only legitimate rushing option for the Chiefs.
