Dwayne Bowe is still holding out for a new contract, unsatisfied with the franchise tag he was hit with this offseason. As a result, Bowe is absent from training camp, as he's been in all of the Chiefs team activities over the offseason, while a deal between him and the organization remained unlikely.
Joel Thorman at Arrowhead Pride mentioned the possibility of this all being semantics and maybe Bowe will show up to camp eventually. It's interesting because no one really knows what Bowe wants and why he hasn't been more open with his demands.
He did an interview with Thorman earlier in the summer saying he would report to camp, and the possibility is certainly still there. In the meantime, fans are just left to speculate on what it would take to get their teams' star wide receiver on the field.
