Chiefs Offseason 2012: Why Kansas City Will Make The Playoffs

Peyton Manning signing with the Denver Broncos this offseason reshaped the complexity of the AFC West in 2012, but the division is clearly wide open. So there's plenty of reason to get your hopes up, and Joel Thorman makes the case for why the Chiefs will indeed play in the postseason:

Tony Moeaki, Eric Berry and Jamaal Charles all tore their ACLs by Week 2 and they're all returning at full health. Matt Cassel missed nearly half the season and he's returning healthy as well. Adding in Peyton Hillis, the Chiefs expect to have one of the top rushing attacks in the league this year.
