The 2012 NFL Supplemental Draft is right around the corner, and that means that draftniks can finally get excited about real football prospects once again. It's been a long, hot, dry summer both in real life for many and in the football world for everyone. So this week is going to seem like the perfect antidote to get you through. For Josh Gordon, Ed Wesley and the six other hopefuls, this is also about realizing their dreams to play pro football.
Gordon and others will schedule pro day workouts, but most people are paying attention to former Baylor wide receiver Josh Gordon of anyone. Unfortunately, the weather is already getting in the way.
It may rain in Houston tomorrow, which is why Josh Gordon's workout might be moved from Rice University to #Texans practice facility.

Gordon is expected to be a mid-round choice -- perhaps in the third or fourth round -- in Thursday's draft. His Pro Day will go a long way toward establishing that.
