The 2012 NFL Supplemental Draft takes place this Thursday and the eight prospects that are available are going to earn an incredible amount of attention given the dry nature of any NFL news and the small pool of players available. Thus it's not surprising in some ways to hear that the best prospect available, former Baylor wide receiver Josh Gordon, is now being called a potential second round pick -- at least by one NFL draft analyst.
I'll be surprised if Josh Gordon lasts past 2nd round of supplemental draft. More talent than many potential '13 #2's, plus you get him NOW.

Gordon transferred away from Baylor to Utah but never played for the Utes. It's been a while since he played in 2010 but his athleticism and measureables are apparently attractive enough to scouts to warrant a look. After being labeled a fourth round choice, he's now rising at the perfect time. Whether or not you should buy into the hype is another matter.
