Fantasy Football Rankings 2012: Dwayne Bowe Outside Of Top 20

After a down year in 2011, there isn't much optimism that the Chiefs passing offense can regain the magic of 2010.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe may want to be paid like one of the top WR's in NFL, but the good folks over at SB Nation's fantasy football blog Fake Teams don't think he'll produce like one in 2012, regardless of whether he gets a long-term contract.

In terms of fantasy value, they have him ranked at No. 22 overall among NFL WR's:

Bowe is out to prove that 2010's 15 TD's wasn't a fluke. He is a rare talent, but he fell victim to poor QB play in 2011. If JChaz and Cassel are healthy, Bowe could be a sneaky WR2 being drafted in the 5th round.

The longer his holdout continues, the more bad blood there will exist between him and the Chiefs organization. However, Bowe is going to want to prove something when he inevitably returns to the field, while a healthy Jamaal Charles could take some pressure off the passing game in 2012.

Kansas City is high on second-year WR Jon Baldwin, whom Fake Teams considers a sleeper for next season at No. 46 overall:

And this Sleeper Baldwin is fighting with Bowe and Moeaki and Breaston for targets from a so-so QB. But, Jon's body type could earn him some PT.
