Chiefs Vs. Bills: Buffalo To Play Without David Nelson

A blow was dealt to the Buffalo Bills' offense when they lost starting running back Fred Jackson for a few weeks with a sprained LCL, but their receiving corps took an even bigger hit during their game against the Jets on Sunday.

David Nelson tore his ACL during their loss to New York and on Monday was confirmed to be out for the season.

Buffalo Rumblings calls the loss of Nelson a crippling blow to a passing attack that led to four turnovers against New York:

Nelson, who will turn 26 in November, is one of the more dependable and trusted targets of Ryan Fitzpatrick, and his loss is a crippling blow to a Bills offense that already had major question marks at receiver. Playing a prominent slot receiver role in 2011, Nelson put up 61 receptions for 658 yards and five touchdowns.

With Nelson out, expect to see a lot more of rookie third round pick T.J. Graham, who was inactive for the Bills' loss to the Jets in Week 1.
