After a strong showing in his rookie season, Chiefs safety Eric Berry spent the 2011 season on the injured reserve after tearing his ACL in Week 1. The week one opponent was the Buffalo Bills and it was a low block from behind from receiver Stevie Johnson that ended Berry's season.
While many accused Johnson of being a dirty player for his block against Berry, he claimed that it was not so and that he would never take a cheap shot at a player on the field. He continued this trend when he spoke to the media on Wednesday:
It is going to be fun. It is going to be interesting. We will see what happens. However he feels is however he feels. I already said it before that I have never been a dirty player and I never try to take somebody out. I know the work put in to get where he is and where I am. I have said it before but it is enough already. We will meet up on Sunday.
The game will be televised on CBS with coverage beginning at 12:00 p.m. CT. Check the TV maps here to see if the game will be showed on your local CBS affiliate.
