Chiefs Friday Injury Report Includes Kendrick Lewis, Devon Wylie

Following a 2011 season in which the Chiefs lost several key players to injured reserve very early in the season, they have been fortunate enough to stay relatively healthy to begin the 2012 season. With cornerback Brandon Flowers likely to make his season debut against the Bills on Sunday, the focus turns to players like Kendrick Lewis and Devon Wylie who are trying to work through injuries.

"On the injury front, Kendrick Lewis, (Allen) Bailey and (Anthony) Toribio, they're limited, able to do some individuals, so that's where they are," Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel said Friday, "(Devon) Wylie will probably practice again today, and then with (Brandon) Flowers and (Jalil) Brown, they took their turns in practice. I think the more they can do, the better we can feel about them. So, expect them to take their turns in practice today as well, and then we'll see how they do and kind of go from there."

The key missing player for the Bills will be running back Fred Jackson who won't play Sunday with a sprained LCL.
