Chiefs Vs. Bills Score Update: Buffalo Strikes 1st, Leads 7-0 After 1st Quarter

After 15 minutes at Ralph Wilson Stadium, the Kansas City Chiefs trail the Buffalo Bills, 7-0. It was an ugly first quarter in upstate New York as both offenses combined for just 39 yards through the first 10-plus minutes of the game. But the Bills finally broke through for the game's first touchdown with just over two minutes to play as C.J. Spiller cut it up through the seam off the left tackle for a 17-yard touchdown. Spiller, who's seeing increased action with starter Fred Jackson inactive, carried the ball seven times for 42 yards.

The Chiefs offense has been fairly quiet, but they did move the ball to midfield on their opening possession before the drive stalled out. Matt Cassel opened the game with a short dump off the running back Peyton Hillis, who picked up 15 yards on the first play from scrimmage. Cassel finished the quarter 5-of-7 for 35 yards while the duo of Hillis and Jamaal Charles has carried the ball five times for a total of just four yards.
