Scott Pioli Remains Confident In Chiefs' Ability To Turn Around 2012 Season

The Kansas City Chiefs have stumbled out to an 0-2 start, but general manager Scott Pioli is still confident that the team he assembled has what it takes to win.

After a second-straight blowout loss on Sunday, this time at the hands of the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City is looking like one of league's bottom-feeders. Pioli doesn't think so, and believes the team has the right people in place to succeed, according to kansascity.com:

"We think the roster is good enough. I think it is. Now it comes down to executing. We improved this team through free agency and did quite a bit of spending to improve this team whether it was contract extensions or the signing of other players. Time will tell if it was enough. I think it was."

The Chiefs are now in a difficult position if they are to improve on last season's result, when they narrowly missed the playoffs. Teams in the NFL rarely get to the postseason after an 0-2 start, so Kansas City would have to overcome the odds.
