The Kansas City Chiefs put offensive lineman Luke Patterson on the practice squad injured list and signed wide receiver Junior Hemingway to the practice squad. Both moves were announced Friday.
Patterson was an undrafted free agent signee in 2011 after a college career with the Texas A&M Aggies. The 6'4, 295-pound lineman spent all of last season on the Chiefs' practice squad.
Hemingway, a 6'1, 222-pound receiver, was a seventh-round draft pick from the Michigan Wolverines in 2012 after winning the 2012 Sugar Bowl MVP. He was released on Aug. 31 and signed to the practice squad. Arrowhead Pride pointed out this is the third week in a row Hemingway has been signed and released from the practice squad.
The Chiefs kick off Sunday against the New Orleans Saints at noon CT on CBS.
